Where are we?

Rishka came to us in July 2003. We were living in Loose, Kent, and started our Puppy Walking career when Sue retired from the NHS the week earlier. Rishka was then six months old, having been with a family with a number of young children, and she hadn't been able to settle with them.

She immediately calmed down with us, being a quieter household all round, and started to build some good experiences. Not an easy dog, with some dog distraction, she finally made the grade as a guide dog, and is settled in Dover with her new owner.

May 2012 and notification from Guide Dogs that Rishka has retired as a working dog. We hope she has many  years left to her as a companion and she is well looked after and loved.

We too have now 'retired' as Puppy Walkers having had 8 years and 8 pups!

Sadly and inevitably Riska died in 2016, peacefully in old age.

The picture on the right is of Rishka in the second day of living with us. You can see how relaxed she has already become.
